Tammy Smith came to be a Caregiver here at ACMCC in March of 2000. She lived up north with her family and became a CNA at the age of 17.
She started at ACMCC as a CNA and worked her way into the Restorative Nursing department. Tammy likes working here at ACMCC because she cares for her residents. “I feel that maybe I make a difference in their lives by helping them keep their strength up and reach their goals. “ She enjoys when our residents come down to the Restorative Room to work on their individual programs as it gives her some one on one time with them.Tammy helped start the exercise groups that happen throughout the week that our residents have started to look forward to each day.
Tammy is married to her husband Chris, and they have 2 daughters. Outside of her time here at ACMCC, Tammy enjoys kayaking with family and friends. She looks forward to their big camping and kayaking trip every summer
